AMC’s Preacher is currently shooting, and show developer/writer Seth Rogen (Pineapple Express, The Interview) has released the first photo on Twitter . In the photo, we get to see Ian Colletti as Arseface and Dominic Cooper (Captain America: The First Avenger, Agent Carter) as Reverend Jesse Custer.
Cooper’s hair is looking close to his comic book counterpart’s hair.
Preacher follows Texas preacher Jesse Custer, his ex-girlfriend Tulip, and the Irish vampire Cassidy on a journey to find God. Jesse has powers to control people, thanks to an offspring of an angel and demon named Genesis that has possessed his body.
Joining Cooper and Colletti are Ruth Negga as Tulip, Joseph Gilgun as Cassidy, W. Earl Brown as Sheriff Hugo Root, Lucy Griffiths as Emily Woodrow, and Elizabeth Perkins as Vyla Quinncanno.
The series will premiere in 2016.
